To start with, we reached out to people in our community of talent from all across the world including creative directors from the Netherlands, filmmakers in the UK animators from Australia as well as activists from NGO organizations in Nigeria just to mention just a handful.

We then invited them to get on their smartphones, cameras and laptops to address three questions about the coming year:

  •   What's your goal this year?
  •   What are you looking forward to in the New Year?
  •   What are the most significant challenges that you are anticipating in 2023?

The answers they received reflected the power of communities, like this gem from Creative Director and Soursop co-founder Ravi Amaratunga Hitchcock...

 streamlining the process of posting

After editing all of videos submitted, we knew we wanted to each segment of the video to be able to stand on its own. We came up with an assortment of supercuts which feature our most popular answers to each of the questions mentioned above.

Then, in anticipation of the possibility of interactivity, the's team developed a few guidelines to help transform the video from sizzles and raw footage to an immersive experience.

  •   Include an interactive element in the first ten second  
  •   Set a timer of 15 - :20 between each hotspot
