"JoClub is an abbreviation that is a referent to Journaling Club, but also is my name." Jo Franco begins. "When I started to write, I was overwhelmed by thoughts. In addition, my kids were not a fan of my writing. Therefore, I started writing."
"I did not have a passport when I was born and this is why I needed to conceal myself and speak Portuguese in addition to becoming at ease with English as a result of falling" she recalls. "I have learned many languages since I did not feel at ease being acknowledged. In reality, I was perceived as a snob since I was thought to be just one individual. My appearance was different from those of other acquaintances. My look was unusual for kids and I had the quiet, calm way of talking and a calm way of speaking.
"Of Of of course, I'm not in the right position to consider this in the present But isn't it exactly what happened and the only issue is that it was not known about? Many of us feel exactly the same feeling."
It was an excellent present to Jo who Jo wrote "I want to have more than a purely empathy for myself. I was fortunate to put myself in a situation where I was able to look at the world in a non-biased way. I wrote down everything that appeared negative and noticed positive change in my personal life. After that, I altered my writing style, and not just my words. It was possible to alter my way of thinking and looked at my own life to look for positive elements. It was essential to look for events that were positive to build positive memories I would bring to others. It was at this point that I started to feel more positive. It was a helpful method for me."
Conscient of an incident
When she was a student at University of Manhattan, Jo was overwhelmed by the number of people she had to take care of. Jo could find her own place in the journal she kept. "It did not matter which part of America or in a different part in the United States or on a trip, I was able make use of this journal and help me reconnect with me.
"My "why" is the belief that I'd like offer people that same sense of "You're not the only one" regardless of the circumstance that might pose a difficulty. It is also possible to be supported in your journey to improve and make a note of the steps you've chosen to take. Additionally, in writing about your experience, and then give it away to people around you, you can show some gratitude towards those who gave you the idea. It's simple to integrate in your thoughts and in a personal style."
"There's plenty of evidence from studies that support this conclusion," she adds. "There were clinical research studies which examined the record of gratitude in treatment. Journalists who record gratitude through journaling tend to be more satisfied."
"Give your mind the chance to unwind. Take the burden off of your body. Then write your thoughts on a sheet of paper. If you write down negative thoughts, you're in a position to breathe and contemplate the emotions that you're experiencing and to do this with empathy. Our emotions can make us insane. They're at the heart of everything. They're the basis of trust as well as being the foundation of charisma. The first time you make a move towards a career, you'll have the chance later to build fortune."
"Maybe you are been an athlete"
Jo certainly had plenty to tell by 2020. Because of her YouTube channel, that has over a million viewers. In addition, she could make money from traveling. "I was an interesting person that lived a private, intimate existence. In the background, I wrote. It was my method for going about my everyday routine. My diary is a record of my daily life. my journal is "my journal."
In January of 2020 She was assigned the Netflix task of hosting The Most Amazing World Vacation Rentals. "It is a change from YouTube towards traditional methods of hosting. If you've worked at a studio, you'll be aware that the days of YouTube can be extremely long. If you're there for longer than 16 hours and you're constantly being told to hurry Up that you're expected to do, then you're not working. It's the moment of sunrise, wearing the makeup on and hair in a ponytail. The lines appear across your forehead, and you're thinking "No there's no joke to think that this is the perfect time to stop, and take the time to exhale"!"
When there were pauses between the action, which may take a longer period duration, Jo wrote. "Writing was something I enjoyed and that's why I chose to start the venture that could later turn into an enterprise that would bring me cash." When covid premieres after the show has ended, the main source of income ceased.
"I was anxious as you were. I started posting pictures of the journal entries I'd composed. After a period of 100 days, I made the decision to share my journals with individuals from around the globe via Instagram Stories. I was thinking "Hey I'm thinking that this could be a good possibility to join a club. Maybe people could purchase a membership to my world online in the format of an online group. That's the way JoClub was born. The company was founded nearly 4 years ago!"
Following the Netflix program, Jo realized that journaling might be a lens which could be used to guide her eyes and enable her to have a peek at the world. "It was not only to be a fun experience. While on traveling for two days, it's difficult to not become exhausted. Work you perform isn't tied to what you're paid to.
"You know that I'm thinking about what the point of my existence is. That's how I make my living. It was to me obvious that if I give the rest of my possessions away, the next generation will be able to find my best writing ever written. I decided to integrate the knowledge later on in my life."
Her work doesn't stop at the motives behind her work.
Jo participated of the contest. "I posted three videos a week. I posted them in three languages. I was asked by the company to employ employees later allow them to leave. I was taught how to build machines that could generate the data."
It was time to make a change. "I wasn't living in the mindset that I wanted only to perform work. If you're depleted or exhausted, this is the norm for creatives. If you're exhausted and depleted, you're not able to make a profit. If that's the way I started my career, and what I plan to continue for the remainder of my existence then I'll think of ways to ensure I'm not missing the chance to earn money."
Jo realized that she was driven to create something more than. Journaling groups were started with significant interest through Zoom: "The membership started with a month-long fee that was just $19, and also an extra benefit of an annual live conference. Additionally, I would drop daily journal prompts to every mailbox."
The aim was to give an experience similar to yoga classes. The program consisted of two questions and was preceded by an open discussion in addition to another prompt followed by break-out rooms. "It was created to be centered around IP (intellectual property)," she recalls. "After being absent for 6 months, it dawned on me to think of ways I can assist facilitators in the direction of the learning? If so, are facilitators able to help JoClub in ways that I had not considered before? They'd like to "extract everything good about JoClub" as well as work with facilitators of JoClub. JoClub members can take part in journal-making and the "bring their own songs" workshop specifically designed for musicians who have only started their career and other activities that are similar.
"Now we're holding monthly six sessions. There are more events I'm hosting than I'd like," she adds. "Beautiful things that I'd never had thought about starting before, such as retreats I organize and lead. I also ran the pilot program inside an institution, and I'm now involved in different matters. A different method of dealing with the problem was to work within Jo Franco's circles, which were located at the upper levels."
Integration in the social and cultural spheres
"An fascinating feature of membership models is that they help create a society" she explains. "If you are a member and you join the membership, you'll have the ability to walk into your house of preference. You are now free to design your home your own way." Jo along with her coworkers explored ways to build lively threads to ensure that "people can talk in public spaces to be certain that they're communicating their points."
"It's the distinction between individuals and the general community," she adds. "An public may respond to content that you've posted and there's not a place for debate. If I upload videos on YouTube and somebody comments on it and I reply on forums, but not on a forum I'm developing, I'm an member of the community in case they are a part of the same community."
Jo is considering how we deal with when we join and how we will deal with the new members. "How can we deal with the individuals who arrive in an area with the impression they're not part of our community? Now is the best time to recognize the kind of work that is being done. It's a reason that those who don't have an enthusiasm for their job tend to stay away in a position for an extended period of time."
This isn't an easy endeavor. "It's an important thing to take pride in making sure that your membership increases since the market is continuously changing. If you're not keeping yourself up-to-date with the latest advancements, you'll lose every member you've had."
It's evident that Jo has a passion for her work and her knowledge gained from her journal into the way that she handles her membership. Journals, as she explains to us can be a fantastic way to become more mindful of your choices that you think about. The curriculum of schools the educational curriculum lacks instructions on these topics "We're not equipped with strategies to manage our emotions. This tool can assist you to maintain your cool during times where it's hard to keep your cool. I was awed at the benefits. It was a thrilling hobby. When I got older, I realized "Damn I've been able to keep my identity throughout a lengthy period of. time""
A lot of people have asked "Jo she's only 30 years old." young." young. Was it a long time ago that you were so young? What you only did was to write. It worked." She smiles.
