Motion and space in illustration The CreativeMindClass Blog
Ever since I was a kid I've always loved drawing, paint and use my hands. It was and always has been my most natural method to express myself. However, growing up in Taiwan and in Taiwan, having an artistic profession was thought of as a negative thing as a way to make money, and I was frequently instructed by my parents to learn deeper into practical topics in order to avoid ending being hungry on the streets.
It is a blessing that my mom has always encouraged me to pursue anything that I desired and has done everything that she could to help me achieve my goals. Following my return in America, United States and graduating high school, I realized that I would like to go after art as an occupation.
I was accepted into ArtCenter College of design, studied Illustration intended to go to the field of feature animation. But along the way, I was introduced to motion graphics, and fell in love with its versatility and all it's amazing art work created by people I greatly admiration.

I'll be really into a shape driving style for a while, one day suddenly I'll get bored of it and want to try a style that's based on the lines.
In other instances, I'll combine two things seem fascinating to me as if I'm on the endless journey of discovery and learn. After fumbling a in a few places, I'm noticing the specific patterns, shapes, and colors I'm drawn to, perhaps it's the beginning of an aesthetic?
That's a big reasons why I am so happy being at Oddfellows Sometimes I can't believe I am fortunate to work with an amazing group of people. At work we often have to adapt to different styles for each project. nearly every task is completed in different styles, and I'm constantly getting new knowledge from my peers every single day.
