Jon Kung didn't plan to pursue a career in the realm of social media. The company didn't plan to make a profession out of food. The foodie and creator of content was a theater student and wrote creatively during college before going to law school.

"It ultimately came down to what I thought I was," they say. "I had to choose between my academic pursuit and as one employed in the food service industry although I was tempted to choose the more secure choice, the enticement of food services and the feeling of fulfillment that I had when working there was simply too strong to not take a look."
