"Vancouver is enveloped by stunning landscapes, so every single day and I tried to get away into the mountains," Frauke says. "I initially just wanted to document the journey with my phone camera and posted the images online to share with friends. I bought a DSLR a couple years later and, well, here is where I'm at."

She now takes photos and hikes through the mountains of the world. She shares the adventures she has taken through her Instagram followers. Transporting viewers into nature

Although not all people can afford long hikes in the hills, Frauke's aim is for her photography to provide viewers with the best thing. "I attempt to draw viewers into my images and make them feel like they are there alongside me at that exact instant," she says.

Frauke also believes to bring viewers along on her journeys and revealing to them nature's raw beauty wild world, her images will have a more lasting influence. "If 10 people see my work and think"Hey, I'd like to connect to the natural world and safeguard this planet more urgently and in the future, then it's an achievement," Frauke says. "It is the best thing to align with where my heart truly is."
