While many kids get an early start in business by selling sweets to their friends, Morgan Hipworth took his young passion for food and cooking up a level. A child and inexperienced founder of the renowned Australian bakery Bistro Morgan has developed a passion of food through cooking programs prior to turning seven years old .

"I observed other children on the TV, working towards their ambitions and was thinking to myself "If they're capable of doing it, then I should as well,'" Morgan says. He then put that belief into action "Each weekend, I'd cook three meals for my parents and family making my own food and serving it around the table of my parents," Morgan states. "I later extended my customer list to include my entire families , serving fresh prepared desserts to celebrate birthdays, or for other celebrations." When he was 13 years old, he was asked to deliver sampling cakes to local eateries and was also entrusted with the management of the cafe's supply of bakery goods and desserts.

Involve your customers into the story of your company's story

"Being proficient in telling a story and really connect with people has been a fundamental element of building a customer database," he says. "Connection is the most important factor because it's what turns a once-in-a-lifetime customer to a faithful customer that will remain always there for you over your life."
