A footer of a website page is a part on the bottom of the page that contains essential information for users. The footer is usually consistent over the length of a website, giving users an unchanging location near the end of a scroll. Think of them like an actor who is the perfect complement on your site. You might not be aware of them as the star but it is impossible to be successful without them. They contain almost everything that people are searching for including contact information and links to pages of importance.

There is a chance that users don't are able to scroll down until the bottom of a page to interact with the footer. But studies suggest contrary. the Chartbeat and Nielsen Norman Group revealed that people who scroll to the bottom tend to appear in the bottom of a page, rather than the top.

It's evident that footnotes don't actually count as footnotes, but how can you get the most value from your footers? What do you need to know.
