How Mind Oasis is Connecting 3,000students to online meditation

Five years in the past, Karuna Schwartz found herself taking a retreat of a month within the Arizona desert. This was after her first introduction to the notion of mindfulness through the yoga instructor in her class. It was a subject she knew could transform her life professionally and personally.

"Even even though I wasn't comfortable with the practice at first, I realized the impact it had already made on certain aspects of my life. I'm realistic and a type A personality. Prior to embracing this method I did not possess the skills I'd have to use to go out into the world and help people instead of becoming a simple victim" she admits.

In the course of three months, thinking about the idea of having taking a retreat under the name of Mind Oasis came to Karuna. This idea was completely new to her. She knew her "special taste' in the world of meditation.

Since the very beginning, Mind Oasis' mission is to promote the timeless advantages of meditation and mindfulness to everyone across the globe. In the course of this mission, Karuna has been determined to distinguish between guided meditation and to teach meditation as a whole.

Karuna established Mind Oasis as an online educational platform. It provided courses on yoga Nidra, Buddhism as well as Hinduism. While the educational component proved to be a useful, Karuna's real passion was concentrated on the practical and important elements of the practice of meditation.

"It is a cause of irritation that meditation does not yield any profit. It's all about being present as in addition to making income from it. The idea of earning money through it does not make sense for me. That doesn't mean teachers aren't paid well however, it doesn't suggest that I'm earning an amount that isn't much," she says.

We're not an arts and culture group or an animal-related. We're not able to count on this type of foundation-funded funding to generate income streams that were hard to establish," she explains.

On the other hand the fact that an organization is not for profit allows Karuna to go above and beyond in order to give her students financial assistance.

"When you're trying create funnels for sales, don't trust us as specialists. We claim to be specialists in the field of meditation. Converting isn't straightforward," she says.

"What we've observed working to our advantage is organic growth , and the high product quality over the amount. We're open to admitting that our product isn't a baby in comparison to big companies and I'm sure to tell you that this is the most amazing product that stands apart."

Karuna promises to give her faithful students her most powerful listening platforms. Word-of mouth marketing is what has brought new life to Mind Oasis.

"To honestly be truthful with you, take note of influencers who have been paid to get many clients. This isn't what has happened to our students. What's important is that we have students who've had an amazing experience when they meditate with others in groups." She goes on to discuss.

Even though this system has been in place Karuna claims that the million dollar problem will be "How do we permit people to enter our door? What is our plan?

"It's hard because there's plenty of competition within the market. We've explored more traditional methods including marketing through Facebook along with the five-day mindfulness session, or even free classes. In the end, we've tried every option. Every day, if it's the case you've made a great product, and you have people who are convinced of your product, they'll inform their families and friends about it. This isn't the most efficient way, but your product is strong, we're well-built, and we're staying strong."

She formed partnership with her promotional and curriculum company along together with the teachers of her class.

From Mind Oasis' early days, Karuna has been intentional about the appropriate payment for teachers to ensure that they may improve their capabilities. The majority of her income goes to her teachers as a result of this . Karuna insists that they work with her in both the areas of education as well in promotion.

"The interactions that we have with our teachers can really help us get our attendance numbers up and in filling the classrooms.
