Creative Mind: How the brain is working. The creators of CreativeMindClass.

This is our first conversation with the illustrator from Canada design, creative, and teacher Maia Faddoul. Maia is a first-generation Canadian artist who is based in her Montreal studio, where she draws vibrant and vivid illustrations for packaging, editorials publication, and much more. Her style is high contrast, bright and vibrant and often has a subdued message of social justice hidden in.

Maia is a total color-lover and a bit of a maximalist when it comes to her style of art. Maia utilizes her work as a way to express her beliefs, speak out against injustice and raise awareness to causes that mean very much for her. Be sure to check her courses online, Instagram and also her Etsy store , where she offers her unique flower earrings. We invite you to dive deeper into the brain and process of creativity that is Maia Faddoul.

My drawing style as "High Contrast'.

I see my style as vivid, high-contrast and colorful and often has a subdued social justice message hiding somewhere. I am a total color-lover and a bit of a extreme person when it comes to my art style.

What is the key for creating illustrations?

One of the most important aspects of my work is creating art that reflects my beliefs and values. I'm not the most outspoken or extroverted person, so I often use my art to communicate my beliefs, speak out about injustices and spread awareness to causes that mean a much to me.
