Collage art - The CreativeMindClass Blog
In the afternoon of Sunday, I managed to catch Olga posting on Instagram about my hometown from my youth. In Warsaw's urban jungle is an undiscovered, famous green space. I'd go there in the summer months to admire the stunning pine trees, and breathe in the fresh air of the natural world inside my city lung. In the story of her, Olga visited this area during her first visit to the area and was amazed by the most beautiful backyards in Warsaw. My bet is that Olga will paint the next Boernerowo painted in the style of Boernerowo.

We asked Olga what she uses as the basis for creating her minimalist collages and painting of landscapes that are human-shaped.
"My Name is Olga Szczechowska, and I'm living in Warsaw. From the time I was a child, I've been drawing and painting often. I attended an art class in high school. I also attended classes in painting as well as Cultural Studies at the University of Nicolaus Copernicus in Torun.

I'm an illustrator, painter occasionally graphic design. My work is a concentrate on the connection between man and nature, by carefully observing the way we create the world around us. Through observing trimmed hedges or decorative plants as well as meticulously designed backyard gardens, I'm trying to capture the mysterious environment which surrounds us."

"For several years, I've also been creating minimalist collages. The collages are inspired by nature, still life or developed as a result from experiments with shapes, textures as well as the use of colors.

My style is heterogeneous because collage and painting are different in many different ways, but they do have something that is common to both: they calm. I have heard this term often from my fans and I believe it is the best description of my artwork. When I get bored of drawing, then I make collages. This is not the only way to do it. One style is used as a means of escape from the different.

I think observation is key. I pay attention to everything around me, including architecture, nature as well as objects. All this is reflected in my art. My artworks do not see an individual, however, it is a feeling of human presence in trimmed hedges, or in a glass placed in the middle of the dining table."
