Louise Cherry Barber: Danica I am pleased to announce that you have been selected as the Springie Award Winner for our 3rd quarter of 2023! Please tell me what does it mean for you to be awarded the Springie Award here at ?
Danica Larsen:It was really nice to, like, genuinely heartwarming to know that I tried to incorporate a large portion of me and my unique personality -- into my work every day. And it was great to see that other people had seen it, and was greeted and acknowledged positively and it wasn't just because of achieving a set number that was previously the way I was recognized and other workplaces that I've had, but also due to the individual I am and the things that I've achieved in addition to a specific number. It was really nice to be acknowledged for who I am as a person. It was really touching.
Louise Cherry Barber: This is awesome and definitely deserved. Another thing I'm fascinated by is for you to discuss your top moments, like the stories you were interviewed, or even specifically your work did on the benchmarking initiative was praised by a few people. Tell us something about that?
Danica Larsen:Yes, I put in so much work that I'm really happy to have it being recognized. I think I was slightly surprised discover that benchmarking has been among the initiatives that has been praised, I think, because it's still in its early days and there's still a lot of work to be completed. So I'm thrilled to see that people are thrilled about the initiative. Because it's going to provide an incredible amount of value. I truly hope that it's going provide much value, not just to us as a corporation as well, but also for our clients, sellers, as well. And we'll help to give the company some insight on the ways we can expand over time, the way we've seen it work for us as a way to make it a hit. So seeing that called out early in the beginning of, you know, such as beta stage was cool, because that means others are seeing the benefits also.
Louise Cherry Barber: We recently updated our corporate values to include: Create a difference, Seek to Understand and Act With Urgency. I'm curious about your opinions on these new values.
Danica Larsen: What they encompass is doing what's right as well as understanding what doing is the proper thing. This means investigating, looking into that, and acting quickly and making a decision. And I genuinely can stand in that daily... Also, when I look around at the others in members of the Support Team also, I mean, they are living the values with our customers, and also with buyers, every day. They're on the front, the front field looking for understanding and executing quickly, because that's the only way to perform those tasks. When we fall apart as business, no one will be able to continue working with us.
Louise Cherry Barber:What suggestions do you have for those on the other side ? Who would like to live these values? Do you have any advice on how to make those become a reality?
Danica Larsen The only thing I have is my perspective. say that I can only speak from my point of view. However, I believe the most important aspect is to pay attention as long as you can. If you're dealing with various accounts, the companies selling, the customers, anyone who we work with, understanding their needs, and the real reason behind their need, it drives what we should do and how we should act. That's "seeking understanding" and accomplish it without listening. So that would be my first tip Listen to people.
